Jerry Madrid started shaping surfboards in the late 1960s in his parents' garage. When the waves weren't rocking, then Jerry shaped skateboards for himself and friends. While working as a firefighter in 1976, Jerry Madrid officially started the business with his bothers Jim and Jeff.
Madrid has kept with the belief in USA manufacturing.
