You need one for each truck, so you might need two.  Good idea to replace if you can turn your current one by hand.  Maybe the edges are rounded over from and old tool.  

This is like the little hat on the back bone of your steering and control.  So small, yet vital...maybe it's less like a hat in that way as more like a helmet.
