We would recommend 8. We have seen people not use 8. But we would use 8.
However, because the are 2.5" Countersunk bolts the only way you would need 8 is if you had some really huge risers. In that case good luck and please tag us in the video.
Most like this size hardware is going to be used on the fat ends of some big wedges, which is why we don't make you buy 8 at a time.
