This wheel is poured in SSF urethane. This is the same urethane found in the Powell Peralta Snakes.  So imagine a Snake, but with sharp lips, faster roll speed, and a little more break in time before they really are able to slide.

This version is substantially more durable than the purple or green versions but keeps all the characteristics you've come to love. Smooth sliding, fast rolling, but with more of an "on top of the pavement" feel. The stiffer 80a durometer makes for more firm edge grip before release and also a more firm catch when you come back into traction with lots of slide in the middle

The 2mm inset H5 core still allows for flip ability to provide more even wear through the life of the wheel.  This comes in handy when the sharp lips and skin or worn away revealing the meat of the wheel, and you start noshing some tasty slides on your local hill.
