The best place to start describing the 73mm Seismic speed vents is at it's core.  Featuring Seismic's Energy Conversion hub, which was the first tall wide hub in long boarding and still one of the most advance hubs around.  This Hub gives the 73mm wheel a slightly faster roll speed than other 73mm wheels, while shaving off weight, and giving this wheel the same acceleration of smaller wheels.  That fancy core is then wrapped in Seismic's DEFCON urethane giving the wheel long lasting grip with slow consistent wear.
