The first place that will wear out on your slide gloves are in the fingertips.  Until you have learned to keep those fingers up when you are laying your palm down, this will continue to be a problem.  Until then, we have the Triple 8 Sliders Longboard Slide Gloves.

They come with a Finger Puck bar, a thumb puck, and a standard palm puck.  Under the fingers are Kevlar tips and full grain leather.

The Sliders also feature a full wrap around wrist strap keeping your gloves in place for optimum hand placement and control.
