Trucks hold your wheels, and give your board the feels. The two main styles of trucks are Traditional Kingpin (TKP) or Reverse Kingpin(RKP).
Most street set ups or set ups with a wheelbase under 20" will feel pretty solid on a TKP.
Longboards, cruisers, and the like are set up with RKP trucks.
